STEP 4: (VFS Appointment)
After candidate get Confirmation email from MIGRIS, all candidates need to book your appointment to submit their biometrics at the VFS Global Application Centre. After booking your appointment, you will receive a appointment confirmation letter via e-mail Please carry this letter for your biometric appointment If you apply as a family or other kind of group, please mention you are a member of a group. It is necessary to book an individual appointment for each member of a group.
STEP 8: (Congratulations)
After candidates provide their biometric data to VFS and successfully pass the Migris video interview, they can expect to receive an email confirmation regarding their Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) card within 15 to 30 days. This email serves as notification that their TRP card is ready for collection. Candidates then need to revisit the VFS office to collect their TRP card. This card grants them temporary residence status in Lithuania, enabling them to legally reside and work in the country according to the terms of their visa.
Step 6: (Visit VFS)
What happens at the Visa Application Centre
On the day of your appointment:
Aim to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
You must attend the appointment for your temporary resident permit yourself. You cannot send someone in your place.
Bring the original copies of all documents submitted on MIGRIS during your application along with the proof of transfer of the Government fee (if you have paid your permit fee online).
If you miss your appointment on the scheduled day, you will need to book a new appointment via the VFS website.
Without biometrics information, your temporary resident permit will not be processed.
Incase there is a mistake in the application on MIGRIS, you will need to access MIGRIS yourself and make the correction.
Biometrics
Without biometrics information, your temporary resident permit will not be processed.
At the centre, you will need to submit your fingerprints, photograph & signature. This is known as biometric information collection. A digital fingerprint scanner will collect images of the left and right index fingers, and you will have a digital photo taken. The digital fingerprint scanner uses no inks, liquids or chemicals and will not mark your skin.
Your digital photograph must show your full face. You cannot wear sunglasses, tinted spectacles, or a head covering unless it is worn for religious or ethical reasons. Applicants wearing head gear for religious purpose should ensure that as much of their face, forehead, and ears as possible is visible.
Ensure your fingertips are free from any forms of decoration such as henna and free from cuts, abrasions or other markings as these may affect your ability to provide acceptable finger scans.
Exemptions to Biometrics
You will be exempted from the obligation of biometric data (fingerprints) if:
The collection of fingerprints is physically impossible for you.

STEP 7: MIGRIS video interview
All candidates must pass the Migris video interview, during which Migris agents call to verify candidate data. They inquire about the reasons for choosing Lithuania, the candidate's profession, salary, the name of the company, the company director's name, and other relevant details.
